Launch of the ANR (French National Research Agency) ‘PRECSIX’ project
At the start of this year, we were welcomed by Fives Machining and Figeac Aero to officially launch the PRECSIX project.
As part of the ‘France 2030’ investment plan, ESTIA - École Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées , SIGMA Clermont , Fives Machining and Figeac Aero have joined forces to respond to this ‘Robotics Transfer’ challenge.
The main objective is to design a robotised machining cell dedicated to roughing to remove up to 90% of the material as close as possible to the material supplier.
