Progress of the COCOMO project - Payload fairing, France 2030

This project, carried out in collaboration with MECANO ID and MaiaSpace, and financed by Bpifrance as part of FRANCE2030, involves developing new-generation fairings for launch vehicles.

The production of the first prototype fairing structures for micro-launch vehicles marks a key stage in the development of fairings for mini-launch vehicles!

On this occasion, we were able to welcome our partners on site to present our progress, discuss technical aspects and strengthen our collaborative dynamic.

MECANO ID's technical teams were able to take part in the various stages of manufacture and enhance their skills, particularly in automated fibre laying.

It's a great synergy that's driving the project forward!
