Annual General Meeting - Pays Basque Industries 2024

Published on

A few days ago, ESTIA and its Compositadour platform took part in the General Meeting of Pays Basque Industries.

This meeting was once again an opportunity to strengthen the links between economic players and public institutions, thereby ensuring consistency between regional initiatives and industrial needs.

Through our participation, we are reaffirming our commitment to strengthening the synergy between training, innovation and recruitment.

But what is Pays Basque Industries?

Pays Basque Industries  is an initiative born of the desire to boost the region through strong, proactive industrial collaboration. Launched in November 2018 by the government with the "Territoire d'Industrie" approach and supported by the Communauté d'Agglomération Pays Basque (CAPB) in January 2019, this project mobilises the local industrial community to develop concrete actions to serve the economy.

Today, the association comprises :

  • 57 manufacturers from the Basque Country, including start-ups, VSEs, SMEs and ETIs
  • 15 sectors represented
  • 900M CA
  • over 4,000 jobs

And what about us?

We train

We provide support

  • For ESTIA students

We support ESTIA students in their practical work, enabling them to apply the theoretical skills acquired during their training. This support aims to strengthen their professional experience.

  • For students looking for work experience

We offer work-study positions within our platform, enabling students to gain professional experience while continuing their academic training.

  • For secondary school pupils

We support them in their search for a career by offering observation and discovery work placements. These placements are an opportunity to get a foot in the door of the aeronautics and space industry, and to familiarise themselves with the realities of these exciting and dynamic sectors.

We are recruiting

Our platforms are constantly expanding, so we're always on the lookout for new talent to join our team. If you're interested in working in composite materials, additive manufacturing or aerospace propulsion, we'd love to hear from you.
