Winter Olympics: Celebrating the Spirit of Sport Beyond Performance
Composite | Vie du campus
Because one of our colleagues recently shared a film that truly inspired us.
It tells the story of Valentin Cazaux, a composites engineer at Compositadour, who grew up at the foot of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre in the French Pyrenees.
When you grow up with a mountain like that in front of you every day, some ideas inevitably begin to take shape.
His idea? To ski all four faces of the Pic du Midi. Nothing less.
Not for a medal. Not against the clock.
But to fulfil a dream, to challenge himself against the mountain, and perhaps to prove to himself that it could be done.
We would like to warmly congratulate Valentin on this remarkable achievement, which reflects an extraordinary level of commitment, passion, and determination.
At Compositadour, we are proud to work alongside people who embody such strong values of perseverance, curiosity, and excellence.
On this Olympic opening day, this film reminds us why sport resonates so deeply with us:
Because of the stories it tells, the journeys it reveals, and the passions that never truly leave us.
Take a few minutes to watch the film and let yourself be transported to the majestic Pic du Midi de Bigorre.
